ADULT HANDS-ON/COOKING CLASS—PASTA MAKING I: PASTA THREE WAYS

Tuesday, October 5 • 6:30 pm

For Italians, pasta is such an important staple that they dedicate an entirely separate course to its enjoyment. No self-respecting Italian would ever dream of serving pasta (or "maccheroni") as a side dish to something else. In other words, whether it's fettuccine, ravioli, or gnocchi, pasta must always be the star of its very own plate. If you'd like to learn how to create a wide array of pastas in many styles to suit any occasion, we have a great hands-on cooking class for you! Roll up your sleeves and dig right in! Students will learn the fundamentals of preparing hand made pasta at home in an interactive format. From making the perfect dough to preparing a complementing sauce, this class will show you how, including lots of tips and cooking techniques that are sure to expand your knowledge. This class is an evening of fun that will encourage sharing information, family recipes and stories. A full plate of pasta with sauces will be served at the conclusion of the class. This month's menu will include:
